Community Center
The Lynnwood Neighborhood Center, developed by Vollunteers of America, is a 30,000 SF community center that boasts a light-filled central interior courtyard, event spaces, 2 different preschools, Boys and Girls Club, and offices for various non-profits and social service programs directed at helping local families in need and immigrants seeking a better life.
I led redesign efforts during CD’s in order to accommodate the client’s revised program, changing a gymnasium program into a preschool, and harmonize the final building form. The project is scheduled to begin construction in early 2024.
